Welcome to Wynyard Golf Club

Wynyard Golf Club, a friendly club, lies at the base of Fossil Bluff and is nestled between Bass Strait and the Inglis River.  Neat and tidy attire with collar preferred. Main competition day is Saturday, with a 9 hole chicken run on Thursdays, Ladies day Wednesday and Vets every second Tuesday.

We are a friendly and hospitable group of people all keen to ensure the future development of the course and we will always extend a warm welcome to visiting golfers and guests.

All our members and friends may also use our great facilities for weddings, wedding receptions and/or corporate training sessions. We are happy to host your corporate social events at any time possible.

Yes, we have a slogan: “The Best Little Links Course in Australia”.

It is understood that the formation of a working committee for the proposed Wynyard Golf Course took place in 1914 and the golf club first opened its gates in it’s present location on Saturday the 4th October, 1924. Over all those years we have developed an attitude that will no doubt place this club in line to be on the list of the best nine hole links courses in Australia. The Wynyard Golf Club has a reputation envied by others for producing quality golfers as well as a proven track record with it’s “teams” efforts.

Where we are heading

We are offering the use of our course and facilities as an attraction to visitors to this area and to locals who wish to become involved with a very friendly, fully inclusive and pleasant golfing club and our objectives are to uphold the following:
