A Grade:
Danny Thornton defeated Matthew Littler 1up.

B Grade:
Tony Maguire defeated Jamie Hite 2up.

C Grade:
Leon Newall defeated Rhys Palmer 4/2.

Well done to Danny, Tony and Leon for being crowned champions for WGC for 2025.

This is Danny’s 2nd Championship in A Grade to go with his 2004 win and also Tony Maguire’s 2nd win to go with his 2018 win in B Grade.

Well done also the Matthew, Jamie and Rhys for putting up fine performances.

Big thank you to Ben and Emily and the team from Powerlines Tas for once again sponsoring the Men’s Championships.

Also a lot of thanks go to Michelle, Steve and the volunteers for presenting the course in fantastic condition.

Last but not least, a big thank you to Captain Ant who spends a huge amount of time at the club organising competitions for everyone to enjoy.  The Powerlines Tas Men’s Championships is just another fine example.  Well done Ant and thank you for all your efforts!!!
